inesco energy was founded by a dedicated Swiss-Norwegian team of entrepreneurs. The company’s Nordic roots continue to shape its strategic direction and are synonymous with technological expertise and decades of experience in energy storage. Our vision is to enable a reliable and resource-efficient energy supply through the development of innovative sodium-ion batteries. Sustainability, innovation, and social responsibility are the guiding principles of our actions.
Roger Nyffenegger took over as CEO in 2025. He has proven experience in the field of the energy transition and brings in-depth expertise to the company’s further development. As a member of the executive board, Rüdiger Junghans is responsible for sales, drawing on his broad technical expertise. The team is complemented by specialists in software development, electrical engineering, and technical consulting—united by their many years of experience and a commitment to making new solutions possible.
We centralize our collective expertise at our headquarters in Solothurn. Short lines of communication enable efficient collaboration and accelerate innovation. In this way, we are driving the development of sodium-ion technology for stationary energy storage and creating high-performance, integrated solutions for households, agriculture, commerce, and industry.
What drives us is not just technology—but a sense of responsibility. Our systems are assembled in collaboration with VEBO in Solothurn. In doing so, we promote workplace inclusion and create social value.
