VEBO: Assembly Partner for Our Energy Storage Systems
The partnership between inesco energy and VEBO combines innovative energy storage solutions with social responsibility. Together, they create high-quality battery storage systems and meaningful jobs for people with disabilities.
Collaboration with social value
The collaboration between VEBO and inesco energy is far more than a traditional manufacturing partnership. It combines technological progress with social responsibility. VEBO provides meaningful employment opportunities for people with mental or physical disabilities—and thus plays a central role in inesco’s value creation. For inesco, this means that growth and market success go hand in hand with a clear contribution to society.
At the Solothurn site, VEBO handles key tasks in inesco’s production process. Cables are pre-assembled, components for the sodistore home and junction boxes for the sodistore pro systems are precisely assembled, and these are then combined during final assembly to create finished battery storage systems. This not only results in high-quality products but also leads to ongoing optimizations in processes and workflows. In addition, VEBO handles the procurement and storage of components as well as the shipping of the systems. This model—known as the Production Cloud® —enables inesco to focus on its own core competencies: system integration, software development, and the continuous refinement of storage solutions. At the same time, VEBO ensures efficient and flexibly scalable processes—tailored to demand.
This creates a powerful synergy for both sides: inesco gains speed, flexibility, and planning certainty, while VEBO creates high-quality jobs and actively involves people in future technologies. For our customers, this means they not only receive a high-performance, well-designed storage solution, but also make a conscious choice to support a product that combines innovation with social responsibility.
