Success story: How Terrasystems is on course for the future with exchange kits from inesco goes
A strong sign of innovation, sustainability and trust
In the dynamic world of renewable energy, it is not only strong technologies that count - but also strong partnerships. An outstanding example of this is the collaboration between Terrasystems AG from Switzerland and inesco AG. The innovative company based in Grossaffoltern has opted for several replacement kits from inesco - and has drawn an all-round positive conclusion.
Terrasystems AG has been active in the construction machinery sector since 2003 and has also specialized in the creation of high-quality emergency power systems with generators and batteries. Its customers include a wide range of commercial enterprises, agricultural businesses and, in particular, public bodies and authorities.

| Replacement costs | High (dismantling & new installation) | Low (preconfigured modules, quick installation) |
Sustainability retrofitted
The initial situation was clear: Terrasystems was looking for an economically and technically viable solution to modernize existing battery storage systems for its customers, in which the existing salt-nickel batteries were partially defective and no longer functional - without the need for a complete new purchase and reinstallation of the existing systems. With the inesco replacement kit, this is exactly what is possible. The kits offer a simple and safe replacement of existing salt-nickel modules with modern, sustainable and safe sodium-ion salt batteries - completely without cobalt or rare earths.
Smooth installation - strong support
According to Terrasystems, the changeover went smoothly and efficiently. The cooperation with the inesco AG team was particularly emphasized:
"I felt I was in good hands from the very first conversation. The advice was honest, competent and always solution-oriented, and I was very impressed by the inesco team's enthusiasm and passion for their product. We also had reliable contacts at all times during commissioning. Thefactthat the batteries in the inesco replacement kit are already preconfigured and prepared for installation in the existing systems meant that the retrofits went smoothly and without a great deal of effort," concludes Andreas Eugster.
With the new sodium-ion-based systems, Terrasystems was not only able to offer its customers "runnable" systems, but also significantly increase the performance and cycle stability of the retrofitted storage systems - without having to use lithium batteries.
"Based on our positive experience, we now also offer the new sodistore devices from inesco as a complete system for emergency power and stand-alone operation for new installations," concludes Andreas Eugster.
A joint step towards a sustainable future
Terrasystems' success story impressively demonstrates how inesco's modular replacement solution can make a valuable contribution to the energy transition - in the spirit of resource conservation and a partnership of equals.
The inesco team would like to thank you for your trust and looks forward to working with you in the future!
