inesco's sodistore product line is compatible with Solar Manager

Flexibility as a building block of the network

Decentralized flexibility is becoming a key component of Switzerland’s future electricity supply. If generation and consumption in the distribution grid are intelligently coordinated, significantly more solar power can be integrated safely and with less grid expansion. Heat pumps, water heaters, electric cars, and—above all—storage batteries become active flexibility resources that smooth out peak loads and stabilize the power grid.

Seamless integration of the sodistore product line

inesco energy is also actively shaping this development. In addition to its own energy management system, the storage solutions are compatible with other energy management systems thanks to the Modbus TCP interface. This makes the compatibility of the sodistore product line with the Solar Manager energy management system all the more important. Starting immediately, inesco energy customers can integrate their solar power storage systems into Solar Manager with just a few clicks. Supported are the sodistore home devices in sizes 9, 18, 27, and 36 kWh, as well as the devices in the sodistore pro series.

A lithium-free alternative in the Solar Manager ecosystem

The integration of the sodistore product line into the Solar Manager opens up new possibilities for households that want to store their solar power safely and sustainably—without any lithium. Compared to lithium-ion batteries, inesco energy’s sodium-ion storage systems are considered particularly safe because they pose no inherent fire risk. At the same time, the technology stands out for its resource efficiency: the key raw material, sodium, is widely available, easy to source, and highly recyclable.

Energy storage with social benefits

inesco energy assembles its energy storage solutions in Switzerland—in close collaboration with VEBO, a social enterprise that provides people with disabilities with career opportunities and promotes their social inclusion. This joint final assembly process not only produces high-quality energy storage systems but also creates meaningful and impactful jobs. For customers, this means Swiss quality, short supply chains, and a product that combines technological innovation with social responsibility.

The Solar Manager’s compatibility with inesco energy’s sodistore storage systems offers greater flexibility for anyone who wants to store their solar power safely, sustainably, and without the use of lithium. Discover the possibilities and get your home ready for the future of energy.
